The NYC Independent Film Festival 

Participating in an independent film festival is like diving into murky waters. There is no choice but to dive in. As the brochure promises, "it's never boring."

Participar en un festival de cinema independent és com capbussar-se en aigües tèrboles. No hi ha més remei que endinsar-se. Tal com promet el fulletó, "mai és avorrit".

Dennis Cieri, executive director and founder of the NYC Independent Film Festival, states that "it's independent filmmakers who change the nature of filmmaking, both as an industry and as art." 
 

In this 15th edition, Cieri's team will assemble the jury to score the films, a colossal effort, but if a single auteur can move hearts and minds, it will be worth it.

Dennis Cieri, director executiu i fundador del NYC Independent Film Festival, afirma que "són els cineastes independents qui canvien la naturalesa del cinema, com a indústria i com art".
